Hi all,
Normally just a lurker but I've been unable to find an answer to this question.
I am curious about the different kinds of pigmentation of a V nose.
It seems that the colour generally ranges from light pink to a medium brown, generally in keeping with the coat color. But sometimes I've noticed a little darker demarcation line like a "cupid's bow" across the top? Is there a name for this pattern or a particular breeding line where this is more prevalent? I don't think it meets the criteria for a "butterfly nose" pattern.
How does this generally change with age? Does nose pigmentation light/"stretch out" or maybe darken?
Is it the kind of thing that would be penalized in showing?
