Heifer can be, if she’s not getting her way.
ie holding her back from doing doing something exciting.
She can sound like your hurting her, or like a hyena. She’s fooled @Gabica a couple of times.

Yup, just yesterday, we were on the field and i was meant to bring her back to the car while @texasred was attending to Shine on the other end of the field. I had no leash on me so just decided to hold her collar and wait with her until her mom is back to decrease her frustration. She would cry loudly and flip several times making me question @ texasred that she had accidentally pushed the remote for her ecollar.... naiv me. having said that Heifer is a very smart puppy and she figured early onwards that her vocalization will make some (soft...) people react with an oh my god, is she hurt thought.
as soon as mom and Shine were back and we all started walking towards the car she was very happy running with me, and jumping up several times, hey human, i am here for you, just needed to make sure everyone listens to me :ROFLMAO:

Miksa does pretend with an i am in pain vocalization that he is hurt and needs to get out of his crate immediately whenever he knows that we are getting ready to go to do something fun, like bird work. All other times, he lays down quietly in his crate at home, and waits out dinner or play time etc.

well vizslas are known to be vocal and manipulative.

Yes- and he was so bad we couldn’t stand it. Our male would whine over anything and everything. Quickly fixed with just a few corrections with a squirt bottle of water. After only a day or two, all you’d have to do is touch the bottle and he’d stop. Now he never whines.

Has anyone experienced your vizsla starting whining? Ruby has just started this recently. Impatient when waiting on a bone, waiting to go out , or just various incidents.
OMG, when were mine not whining - maybe only when they were outside or sitting in someone’s lap AND being petted. It isn’t publicized as much as their need for exercise and affection, but having had two and knowing others through friends, they are very vocal and expressive, for better or worse. I learned to tune them out when what they wanted (usually attention) wasn’t possible. It could drive my wife out of the room.
