Just want to share upcoming events in the Northeast:

4 Specialty shows (two each day) including junior showmanship competition
Vizsla Club of Central New England
Dates: September 12 and 13
Location: Swift River Sportman's Club, Belchertown, MA

Hunt Tests
Irish Setter Club of New England
Dates: September 12 and 13
Location: Swift River Sportman's Club, Belchertown, MA

Field Trial
Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club
Dates: September 26 and 27
Location: Flaherty Field Trial, East Windsor, CT

Specialty Shows
Connecticut Valley Vizsla Club
Dates: October 3 and 4
Location: Goshen Fairgrounds, Goshen, CT

All Breed and Specialty Shows
South Windsor Kennel Club
Dates: November 21
Location: Eastern State Exposition, Springfield, MA

Hunt Tests
CVVC
Dates: November 28 and 29
Location: Flaherty Field Trial, East Windsor, CT

Social distancing protocol will be observed and masks required.

Are they actually going to hold them? That would be great!!
Everything was cancelled earlier this year. All of the hunt test and trials kept getting cancelled. It's nice that they found a way to begin to hold events.
If the CVVC Field Trial at the end of the month doesn't get cancelled as we get closer, I'll probably be there just to observe.
The CVVC Hunt Test at the end of November would be a great opportunity for Finn.

These events are still on schedule. The vizsla nationals were held successfully a couple of weeks ago in Colorado because participants observed and followed social distancing protocols which is key.

I’m entered next weekend in the vizsla specialty in MA, our first event since Westminster in February. There is also a hunt test in the same location. I’ll report back on how things go.
