Folks are there differences in temperament between the Vizsla sexes?

I’ve noticed that in some other breeds like boxers that the male boxers where more ‘clingy/Velcro‘ like while the female boxers tended to be more ‘territorial’.

Do the same distinctions happen with Vizslas? Any specific traits you’ve noticed?

I’m thinking of getting a Vizsla and would prefer a female based strictly on the desire to get a smaller dog but wanted to understand weather there are other trade offs I might unexpectedly be making.

Some people pick males, so there is no heat cycle to deal with. Others pick females, so they don't have to deal with marking outside.

While each dog is a individual in personality. Males stay in that goofy clown stage, a lot longer than females. I've found that females love you, but males fall madly in love with you.
I've owned and loved both, and really don't have a preference.
I will say the females tend to be the boss over the other dogs. But I wouldn't consider them to be territorial. It's just males normally let them have their way.
