Picked up our new little girl on Saturday then had a 5 hour drive to get her home. She did great, sleeping most of the way on my lap on her blanket and pillow. Only had to stop once for her to pee. She is settling in very well and today is a ball of fire! She loves to snuggle. She plays at 90mph then just drops and falls asleep immediately. Lots of trips outside to pee and poop but doing great so far. First night she got us up twice to go out and last night just once. Whines a bit when we put her in her crate at night but settles in less than a couple of minutes. So we're holding our breath that it stays that way. Ohhhh and if I haven't mentioned it.. she is beautiful and we adore her! She was 8 weeks old last Friday, she's 10 pounds and her call name is Ziva.

Actually yes we are NCIS watchers... and that's where we found the name.... it just seemed to fit the breed and now that we've had her for a couple days it fits her perfectly... feminine yet a bit of a tomboy ... and definitely has an attitude.....however at 8 1/2 weeks is amazing us with her willingness to SIT when asked and sits to have her collar and lead put on to go out and when coming back in to have it taken off! PLEASE LET IT STAY THAT WAY! ha Just had her to the vet this morning for a get acquainted visit and a good once over... she's 10.8 pounds and in perfect health. Everyone from the vet's office to my husband's office are starstruck by how beautiful she is and how well mannered she is (like I said before PLEASE LORD LET IT STAY THAT WAY) At the moment she is
actually taking a nap in her crate... will try to post some photos in a bit.

Glad to finally be one of the Vizsla Family!
