Hello all! We have been vizsla owners for 17 years. Our last one passed away 1.5 years ago and we’re finally ready to get another one. We put a deposit on one today but the one we liked the most has a weird bump on its head. Breeder didn’t know what it was. Is it something that you’ve seen before?

If the breeder does not know why, it should be checked by a vet. I would not take I don’t know why as an answer.

Vizslas do get the canine version of a human "skin tag", but I've never seen one in such a small puppy.
Show the pictures to your vet and see what they say.
Texas Red is correct, the breeder should have a better answer.

The breeder brought her to the vet. Said they were not concerned and that they didn’t think it was a tick bite. Seems to be going away on its own. 🤷🏻‍♀️
