I went to a motorcycle event last weekend.Under one of the pro tents there was a lady who had a vizsla male eleven months old.He was a beautiful dog.Reminded me a lot of my riley.It was kind of shocking to turn around and see the red dog of choice just standing there.good thing I had my digital camera we talked and i showed her my boys.Fun stuff

We also met another vizsla while out walking Ferdie the other day - the first one we've met since we had him. It was a 14 month old male and a lovely looking dog, but quite small. Ferdie is only 8 months old and he was about 4 inches taller than it!! I think Ferdie must be quite big for his age - he is already about 60lb - but I think I prefer a slightly bigger looking dog.

Wow it must be meet new Vizsla Days! Yesterday after having a bite to eat out with my husband we were leaving the restaurant and across the street at a local pizza place was a V with it's head hanging out the window of a parked car. We went across and it ended up being someone I had met before. He had his two dogs in the car and was dog sitting the Vizsla.
She was 15 months old and happy as a clam to see us. So found out where the owners lived - so when we get our puppy the end of August and wait out the necessary time for shots - we can hopefully get them together for play dates! They are on one end of the island and we live toward the other end so maybe we can meet in the middle. HA!

Nico ran with me during a race the weekend before July 4 and I saw no less than 4 other Vizslas (and also a few Weims). I think the breed is definitely getting more popular here in Ohio!

I was at the dog park on Monday and met a year old V. Owners are from Scotland. We chatted a bit while our girls played together running from one end of the park to the other. I also met the owners of one of Tizane's older sisters at Petsmart a couple weeks ago. Their girl is 3 1/2 and a real beauty by the looks of pictures they showed me.

I went to a park and unbelievably saw 2 more vizsla. They cam staright over and played with him for ages, the owner offered to look after him for me when I had to travel to London for a day and they took this lovely photo, mine is the little one on the right.
