My name is Matt, and I live in Atlanta Georgia. I just put in my deposit for my first ever puppy (that I am raising on my own), and he is a beautiful Hungarian Vizsla from South Dakota. He arives on May 21 and I CAN'T WAIT!!

I look forward to this forum growing and sharing, information, stories, and training tips with other owners of this special and exquisite breed which is the Vizsla.

Hey Tbone.

This is my first Vizsla and the first dog which I will raise by myself.

There are lots of show champs and even some dual champs in my pups background, he has zero white, and I got him for a pretty good price.

I really like Anderson kennels because of the way the pups are raised, and the whole atmosphere of the kennel.

I did lots and lots of research and contacted lots and lots of breeders.

My pup will be a male.

Cool. I have a male as well and he's great. I was in a similar situation as you a little over a year ago and did as much reading and research as possible. The wait is the hardest part.

Be sure to post some pics of him when you finally bring him home. And don't be shy with the questions!
