Hi all,

Peanut is now 9 and a bit months old now and we are going away at the end of July when she is just over a year old. Is there any advice or experience available as to when she will come into season or if I can speed it up???

Looking forward to taking her on holiday with us but not in season :-\

Reba came into season at 14 1/2 months. There are medications that have been tried to manipulate heat cycles, but they are not very reliable and there have been major issues with fertility after their use. I suggest that you just hang on for the ride, especially if you plan on breeding Peanut at some point.

bailey is ten months and went into season today!! im a nervous wreck walking her incase she runs off or some other dog runs to her!

I know what you mean about the waiting. Purdey is one on the 25th of this month and nothing yet! do they get moody/snappy before their first season?? or is that just us women the reason I ask is she's been like that this week and alittle off her food_ maybe I am looking into this alittle too much but just want to get "it" over with so we can have her spayed and kept safe! x
