Well, Ada, our vizsla girl, is 7 and a half months old now and she sleeps in our bed since she was 2. We tried to let her in the crate in the beginning but she insisted using varied strategies until she got to sleep with us in our bed (we had several complaints from the neighbours). I thought (and I think I read) that she may be too little to sleep all alone then. Now, 5 months later, she seems to be so happy with this approach that it hurts to change the situation but we think my partner may be allergic to her (he will have the results from the test in a few days) so it is highly likely that we need to get her out from there. Do you have any idea of how we can accomplish this?

Crate training is never fun, and it can be even harder once you have let them sleep in your bed for months.
Plan on some sleepless nights, and a good chance you will be sleeping next to her crate while she adjust to the new arrangement.
