I'm new, like everyone else it seems.

I don't have a Vizsla but I am looking to find the rigt breeder to get a Wirehaired Vizsla some day soon.

I just searched 'Vizsla fourms'.

This is the only one that isn't filled with spam posts.

What can we do to make this forum more active and to recruit more people? I made some posts 9 days ago and still haven't gotten replies.

I've searched for vizsla forums as well and this is the best I've found. I think if we get a core group of people who consistently check the forum and contribute we should be able to build it.

I do web development for work and stuff, earn a bit and know how to promote.

I started this a few months ago, never really advertised it since I was low on time.

I can invest money and maybe 30 minutes a day into this, if anyone has any ideas.

Ways to expand may be that if you have any other websites, post a link to here.

You could also tell your friends, fellow vizsla owners etc.

Also, say you knew people from other vizsla forums that are now spammed, you could also tell them about this new one.

I may try and get some advertising done.

Do you think it would be worth targetting number 1 one for the search term "vizsla" in Google? It only has just under 2m results, so it should be fairly easy.

If the people here think it is worth it, then I can go ahead and aim for it and could probably have it in a month or two.

Sorry, I just started a new post about this under the Suggestions section, but the basic idea is that I've heard/read the more links you have on your site and the more sites that your link is available... the more visible your website will be.

So maybe we can add some links on our home page? Like to the AKC vizsla page, maybe to some rescue sites?

I'd like to make this forum work so I'm happy to help in any way I can. I'd also like to stress if we could stay away from advertising AND letting other people post ads/try and sell dogs, etc on here that would be great.
