Hiya,

My names Andy and we'll be collecting our Vizsla at the end of the month, i cant wait those two weeks! doing all the reading(and shopping) and preparing the house to be puppy proof!

seen some very cute pictures on here! must get a new camera as they grow so fast i wont know what hit me ;D

Looks like a great forum and look forward to being part of it

Don't get too excited. Get as much sleep now, before he/she comes! Collect all your patients in a bottle; so you can retrieve when needed. Spend the time reading up on crate training and other training and dog care stuff. I printed lots of it and kept it in a folder to review when confronted with a situation I didn't have an immediate answer for.

And keep that folder away from the puppy :D

Also make sure your friends know you're getting an extremely adorable puppy so you'll have plenty of opportunity to socialize him!

I know the feeling we are picking up Lucy on the 27th, 10 more days and its driving me insane! Though, I know we still need to puppy proof more of the apartment. Can't wait to see pictures of Ruben :)

be down to single figures soon! lucky :) yh were puppy proofing also, made a 6 foot solid garden gate... various other improvements!
routing cables out the ways ect.....

its an exciting time eh?

oh they know!! lol i'll be carrying it around to socialise it in public also before its jabs are all done.... :)

i've been informed i'll be sleeping on the sofa if it doesnt sleep lol

yeah i've been doing a lot of reading on that, any good links? i see various methods of all training tbh. gets a bit confusing
