Not sure if anyone can help me with this one....but I have a 6 month old pure breed male vizsla and the last month or so i noticed that the fur on the top of BOTH of his front legs has recently developed a patch of different texture from the rest of his body/fur. The patch is noticeably more rough. Is this normal for vizslas due to him changing his coat from puppy to adult fur? or should i be more concerned because it may indicate an allergy/disorder? Thanks in advance to anyone that can offer some advice/experience!!

Can you be more specific? Is it the front of back of the leg and is it at a joint?

It's definitely not on the joint....just on the top side of both front legs.....the patches aren't touching the floor if Chili is in the "down' position....
