Hi all- I’m new here so sorry if this has already been a topic!
I’ve just had my 2 year old viz at the vets after a bald patch occurred on his back, inbetween his shoulder blades. It started off small but has gotten bigger over around 8 weeks. They said it could be a fungal infection but sent a skin scrape off to the lab anyway! I noticed it got worse after day care days so I’m thinking it could be a bacteria that’s there?? I have since noticed some small patches on his shoulder/ back of leg, these ones are very small about the size of half a small pinky fingernail. He also suffers rashes on his belly that come and go but may be something unrelated.
has anyone had similar?

Go to your vet verify it is fungal or allergies. Follow your vets advice. My girl just needs Benadryl daily for the environmental allergies.

My girl will have her back covered in bald spots during part of the summer months.

My girl sometimes can get rub marks near her armpit from wearing her harness. Pic one (if it's an underneath shot, I can't quite tell) looks a little like that. The fur off the back though, I have never experienced that.
