Jenson our new Viz arrives this coming Saturday. Our cocker is now quite well established and a huge mummies boy. Please advise on the best way to introduce the two on Saturday and what steps do I need to consider for the upcoming weeks whilst we adjust the our new family addition.

It's best to introduce the new pup to the older dog away from your home if possible. Maybe go to a park so they can meet on neutral territory. As far as the upcoming weeks, just make sure you give your cocker lots of attention or there will be serious jealousy issues otherwise. Perhaps take him somewhere without the new pup so that he knows he is still your number one guy. You are going to be devoting a lot of attention to the new baby due to training, so make sure you have lots of cuddle time with the cocker as well.
