New to the breed

A life long dog owner here. I grew up with border collies and mixes, but have gone the total opposite way and had pugs when I had an apartment, and a pittie / collie mix most recently. After a dogless summer when our last old man passed, we just adopted a rescue dog (Layla) a few days ago, and we're reasonably certain she's a 1yo vizsla (albeit, she seems quite small), so I'm here :)

She's certainly not like any breed I've had before, and I don't know her back story - I've already encountered a few behavior issues I'll be back to ask about in due course, but figured I'd start out with a simple introduction :)

Pretty dog! Personally I have seen quite a variation in size of Vizsla. Our dear Sadie was a papered "purebred" but maxed out at 45 lbs or so. Today I saw one at the park that is young, very fast and long legged. Her coloration and head and disposition sure seem to be all Vizsla but her body was almost whippet proportions. Really curious about that one.

You will find lots of good advice and shared experiences on this forum.
