Help Pay Towards Darcy's Vet Fees - Insurance Dragging Their Feet

Darcy is our adopted Vizsla we've had her for a year on the 25th May. She's currently in a referral hospital being treated for an unknown infection, it's pointing towards auto immune diesease. Our insurance are dragging their feet paying out and were running out of money.

I understand most people won't be able to donate but if you could share his link and help get our baby girl better that would be fantastic.

Thank you

Just a quick update for Darcy. We went to visit her today and the vet recommended we took her home as she was starting to get depressed in the Referrals Hospital. We were over the moon that we could take our girl back home. She is on a lot of medicine and she's lost quite a bit of weight during the 6 days in the hospital.

She is very tired at the moment which is understandable as they said she wouldn't have slept that much in the hospital due to noises, other animals and getting her temperature taken all the time. At the moment she is just lying on the sofa sleeping her little head off.

She's drinking and eating and she jumped into the car to go home so she does have energy too.

Her full diagnosis is:
Suspected Immune-mediated neutropenia (Immune system targeting her white blood cells), with secondary infection of the tonsils.

We have an appointment on Tuesday to give her a good check over. We should have one of her bone marrow results back on Tuesday (Aspirate) and then on Friday her bone marrow (Core) results back. Also her tonsil swab should be back on Friday too.

Its a good job i'm on leave at the moment, and not deployed!! The total price for the referrals came to £5665. We are putting another claim in for this to our insurance company , hopefully they pay out as we are still waiting for the £2500 from February. But the CT scan isn't covered this time round as we reached our limit on in February with the MRI scan she had.

Myself (Michael) and Caroline would just like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all your donations, it is nice to know there are still amazing people in this world, people who don't even know us have donated so much money for Darcy's Treatment from all around the world. AMAZING!!!

I will post another update after her review on Tuesday.

Here are two photos of Darcy from Today
