A first for Shine

She took her first boat ride today.
She was never scared, but took her a little while to calm down. The first half hour she wanted to jump out after birds.20190408_180633.jpg

Not all those who wander are lost.

Life is just a leap of faith.
Spread your arms and hold your breath and always trust your cape.

Two things define you. Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.

That brings back memories. Times were different or I'd have lots of pictures of Buddy of Bethwood Kennel from the 1970's out on the boat with us. Buddy rode on the bow of our boat, feet close together, his legs like shock absorbers riding the waves and ears flapping I the wind. He loved it!! Never lost his balance and always looked majestic. How I wish I had a picture other than the one in my mind.
