Odi is turning into the biggest good ball. I guess I should say, He's just being normal male Vizsla. My husband set his socks down for two seconds, and Odi was trotting around with them.
He's back to a good weight, and had his last mange treatment. It will take a while for his full coat to come in, but it's already looking better. He is losing that dull orange hair, and it's coming back in a dark beautiful rust color. He was neutered, and chipped last week. He will be ready for adoption in another week.
We have had tons of applications on him. But sadly all have other dogs. Vizsla rescue is going through their apps, to see if they have anyone that would fit, to be Odi's new family. I love when rescues work together, to save, and place these special dogs. For now, we are trying to keep Odi in Texas. Although out of state Vizsla rescue has offered to do home checks for us, if needed.

He will head up to Dallas, then next week he goes north to his new family.

He looks nothing like the dog, I brought into my home 3 months ago. Other than the huge feet, but he grew into them.
He weighed 57 lbs on his last vet visit, and I think he's add more weight since then.

That's gotta be sad - he's been with you quite a while and was a lot of work. I revisited your 1st post of him and was reminded of how pitiful he was. So, besides sad, you have to be feeling really good about his "resurrection". We are too,

Your right, it is bittersweet on my part.
The longer they stay, the more we miss them.

Fosters are the bridge to a new life, we are not meant to be forever homes for most of the dogs.

“I am the bridge,
Between what was and what can be.
I am the pathway to a new life.

I am made of mush,
Because my heart melted when I saw you,
Matted and sore, limping, depressed
Lonely, unwanted, afraid to love.

For one little time you are mine.
I will feed you with my own hand.
I will love you with my whole heart.
I will make you whole.

I am made of steel.
Because when the time comes,
When you are well, and sleek,
when your eyes shine,
And your tail wags with joy
Then comes the hard part.

I will let you go; not without a tear,
But without a regret.
For you are safe forever
And a new dog needs me now”
