I possibly deleted a topic that I shouldn't have

I just finished removing a large number of porn posts. Most of them were "reply" posts added to existing topics. A couple were new topics (threads).

When it's just a reply, the moderator does a "Remove" on that post. There is different "Remove topic" for whole threads.

I possibly did a "Remove topic" where it was just a post that should have been removed. In other words, I might have removed a legitimate topic that happened to have a porn reply attached to it. I'm not sure, because I can't see the deleted topics (no "Trash bin"). But if so, my apologies!

Bob

Thank you Bob. I opened it thinking that was something that should not have been in there. Boy did I get an eyeful! Then I realized it was stuck to more threads and then panicked!

If we lost entire threads, we lost some very good information and some history for some of our long time forum members.

Bob
Just want to thank you, for holding down the fort today.
It appears our spam is on the rise. Hopefully we didn't lose very much, if you accidently removed a topic.
We all make mistakes.
Sorry, I wasn't able to check in on the forum much today, and help you.

don't worry about it Bob, we all do it from time to time. I should be able to spend a bit more time on forum in a couple of days, been "full on" refitting my kitchen and bathroom at home so I've only been able to manage a cursory glance first thing in morning and last thing in evening for last couple of weeks.
