Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Fun Day

TGCVC is having their Annual Fun Day!!!
Saturday, May 9 at 9:00am
Rancho Texcellente I XL, Cat Springs, TX

Once again, you and your Vizslas (and other dogs, too) are invited to join us for a day of romp and merriment at Rancho Texcellente I XL (formerly Cat Springs XL Ranch). This is traditionally a Potluck (BBQ-style), so please bring a dish to share. Sign-up for food by clicking the link below. You may want to bring a crate for your dog, so that you can enjoy your food!! Questions can be sent to [email protected].

Not all those who wander are lost.

Life is just a leap of faith.
Spread your arms and hold your breath and always trust your cape.

Two things define you. Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.

For anyone wanting to go you don't need to be a member, but please sent them a email so they have a head count.

Hey TR,
What activities can one expect when attending this fun day?

Ken

Knowledge and tools all help in training your dog, but have no worth whatsoever if one does not get up and actually go train.

Re: Texas Gulf Coast Vizsla Fun Day

Covered Pavilion for greeting, eating, visiting and relaxing
400+ Fenced Acres for your dog to run free
2 large ponds for dogs to swim (remember to bring towels)
Demonstrations
Games with Dogs
Lunch--Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Sausage, plus Pot Luck!
AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) testing. (bring $10 /dog to
cover test supplies) For more information:
http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/training_testing.cfm
Introduce your dog to horses (an especially good idea if you will
be starting Hunt Tests)
That is just a good start on the activities.
Some years they have live birds, and boy do the dogs enjoy their first experience on quail.
