All these suggestions are great. One theme though that I can't say enough about is....timing and patience. One if you are wanting to reward for good behaviour you need get the timing down to where the treat is given at the point the dog transitions into the good behaviour. Your body language is important here. You shouldn't reach for the treat or lean into the dog until they have transitioned. Patience is equally important. If you want a dog to walk right you don't move unless they are walking right. Each time they pull you stop. This will test you as well as the dog's Patience but soon you will be as one!
